CHALLENGE
Environmental challenges such as air and noise pollution are impacting the quality of life of hundreds of millions of people in Asia and Oceania (A&O). However, unlike North America and Europe, where electrified mobility is commonplace, EV (electric vehicle) infrastructure and adoption is in its infant stages in many parts of A&O.
SOLUTION
TMA team members were tasked with EDUCATING stakeholders across A&O about the benefits of electrified mobility, EXCITING them about the driving experience, and INSPIRING them with visions of how EVs can transform the way we drive and live. A strategic program that included thought-leadership events, partnerships, content creation, and stakeholder outreach was implemented to spread word about the need to decrease CO2 pollution in A&O for a more sustainable future.
RESULTS
Increase of 137% year-over-year in Nissan-led conversations around the electrification of mobility, as well an increase of 31% increase overall on the topic year-over-year
Conversations increased by 81% and engagement by 21% around the Nissan LEAF and its availability in A&O.
Reach of nearly 300 million people through nearly 800 pieces of coverage which drove 4,000 online and social audience engagements and resulted in an unprecedented 97% positive and neutral sentiment.
Engagement at high level speaking opportunities with top-tier influencers, such as UNITED NATION’S WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY AIR POLLUTION SOLUTION DISCUSSIONS with UN Human Rights, Embassy of Korea and UNICEF.
Overall, positive sentiment increased by 10% for Nissan LEAF and by 11% for Nissan in conversations on electrification.
